We are ready for the first International Summer Photo, Animation and Film Camp
"Taste of Peace"
in collaboration with Media Academy from Los Angeles, 24th of July to 18th of August. Target group is Young People 15 to 22 years old! We will work with three groups of participants:
      a. Participants of the Film Camp and 4th Summit: ARRIVAL could be 24th of July,
         2nd of August or 10th of August and DEPARTURE is 28th of August

      b. Participants of the Film Camp but not of the Summit: 24th of July to 18th of August

       c. Participants of the one part of the Camp: 1st group is 24th of July to 2nd of August; 2nd group is 2nd of August to 10th of August and 3rg group is 10th og August to 18th of August. Price for one week is 350 US $, for two weeks is 650 US $ and for all Film Camp is 900 US $

International Summer Film Camp is Multimedia Educational Place and Space for Students and Educators like to use media and new ICT like tool for developing Knowledge Society! We are working in five departments: short film, animation, TV documentary-PSA'a, Internet Radio and ICT. Age groups are 10 to 14 and 15 to 19.

The Media Education Centre seeks to reduce tensions across cultural divides that threaten to inflame existing political conflicts or trigger new ones.
Working with its global network of different partners, the MEC promotes policies and initiatives aimed at improving relations between diverse cultural groups. It also works at the grassroots level in society, promoting innovative projects that build trust, reconciliation and mutual respect among diverse communities.

The MEC works with youth, media, education, and migration in five program areas to support such projects. These areas are: short film, animation, TV documentary-PSAs, Internet Radio and ICT

Media Education Centre works to build platforms for dialogue among youngsters from different cultural, historical and traditional background like example to political, religious, media and civil society leaders who are prepared to use their influence in advancing the objectives for the better future, developing knowledge society, peace and democracy.

IYMS invites organizations, schools and other institutions working with media to nominate two young media enthusiasts 15-22 years old to participate in the 4th International Youth Media Summit, August 19th to 28th in Serbia. The young participants could be candidates as Student Filmmakers and Student Diplomats. Beside the official delegates for the Summit, there are two more ways in which you can participate: as a guest and as a presenter.

The outcomes of the Summit are Public Service Announcements (PSAs) filmed and edited by student filmmakers as well as researched and prepared by the student diplomats.

The program of the Summit is exclusively designed to provide Skill and Professional Development as well as familiarizing the young participants with codes and standards of Media. Also, provide media platform for young adults to express and present the seven significant issues relating to them globally!

After very successful preparation workshop (Global Mobil Reporters, International Winter Multimedia Workshop, Serbia, December 2008) under the coordination of International Youth MultiMedia Summit and Media Education Centre, with support of European Commission and European Association for Viewers Interests and Swedish Institute and participation of the delegates from 12 Countries we will have special Teams working on radio and TV reporting IN REAL TIME!

First time we would like to include radio in the Summit's activities. I hope that we will have seven radio teams... Also, we will have every day real time streaming on the internet of all main activities of the summit. We will have also Summits Internet TV Station (IYMS TV) with 24 hours of program... Who is interested to see what we like to produce during the Summit can see our program we will do during the two days of the International Puppet Theater Festival, 17th and 18th of May 2009. Innovation is that 4th Summit will be TRAVELING! We like to make as much as possible VISIBILITY of the Summit and to give opportunity to NEIGBORHOOD COUNTRIES to (Romania, Hungary, Croatia) to visit us and to participate in the Summits Activities. We will start with Opening Ceremony in Belgrade, 20th of August, 21st of August we will go to Vrsac, nice city at the North of Serbia and we will stay in Vrsac three days (21st, 22nd and 23dr). From Vrsac we will go to Becej and we will stay three days in Becej (24th, 25th and 26th of August). Closing Ceremony of the Summit will be in the nice city of Novi Sad (27th of August)! From Novi Sad to Belgrade Airport is around 75 KM (one hour by car).
